Sarah Woodruff - Artist & Teacher
Artist · Jewelry Maker · Musician
Sarah Woodruff is a lifelong Bay Area artist whose work is rooted in handcraft, storytelling, and keeping her hands busy. Her creative path began as a teenager working at a local bead shop (paid in store credit, of course) and has woven its way through decades of jewelry making, teaching, performing, and creative experimentation.
Today, Sarah is the artist behind Lion and Lamb Studios, where she creates bold, soulful jewelry — including her much-loved Big Ass Rings — using both traditional techniques and intuitive trial-and-error. After building a home studio, she deepened her practice by studying metalsmithing, and quickly found her creative home back at the bench.
In addition to her visual work, Sarah is also a singer in the band Rattletone, bringing the same heart and presence to music that she brings to her art. She’s a devoted mom to Ruby, partnered with a wonderfully supportive husband, deeply obsessed with her dog, and fueled by creativity, community, and the joy of making things that find their perfect home.
